To view the image unreversed with only one "lens", look through the
left lens with the left eye (or right eye, right lens) and tilt the
other lens off the right eye. The depth won't be as pronounced but
you'll still see the effect your mentioning but without the reversing.
Chromadepth does offer glasses with only one lens with the other being
clear. The depth with the one lens glasses is slightly less than the
two lens glasses. But the one lens glasses does offer more depth than
viewing only one lens from the two lens model.
