P3D FW: Stereo w/print film
I am forwarding this... -- George

Subject: P3D Stereo with color print film
Dear list,
I recently shot a roll of color print film in my stereo camera, for
several reasons, including having extra latitude for exposure, but
mainly because I would like to make several prints to pass on to friends
and such. I am wondering, however, if anyone has done this and made
their own stereo view cards. How are the prints mounted on the card
like the old anqitue stereo views? Do you have to use acid-free paper
board to mount the pictures on? What are some of the pitfalls?
And, as an immediate questions, how does one go about getting the film
developed and printed, since the Realist frame size is narrower than a
normal 135 frame? I have this nightmareish feeling that if I drop off
the roll of film at my local consumer film lab I'll have frames cut down
the middle, or at the very least they won't know how to print the
smaller frames.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Steven Stultz
