P3D Re: medium format 3d

While I haven't yet started shooting medium format 3d, I have been
gearing up to do so. I've been using Realists and hadn't really thought
much about 3d in medium format until I became interested in medium format
folding cameras--because they seem to combine both high quality and
remarkable compactness. So, I've acquired a pair of Voigtlander Perkeo
cameras that I'm going to twin on a bar and make stereo pairs using a
dual cable release. Total cost for the whole setup will be about $175.
The cameras are quite good ones and are light and small enough
individually (when folded) to fit into a jacket pocket, so the whole
outfit is easy to handle and to carry around. And, of course, they can
also be used separately for non-3d purposes. The distance between the
lenses is greater than normal and so pictures will be hyper-stereo to
some degree--but I think that will be OK for landscape images which will
be the most likely subjects for this setup. I hope the results are as
good as I expect.
