Just have the lab print 3/5 x 5 inch prints and tell them not to bother trimming them. You'll do that yourself.

In my experience KMart, Target, Safeway -- anyone who uses Qualex to do the processing -- will screw them up.
I take my Realist print film to my local Moto-Photo. I started out taking in a sample stereocard to explain what I needed, made
friends with the owner and the kid who does the actual processing, and now they do them no problem. 3.5 x 5 inch prints mount
better than 4x6".
