My uncle bought a Realist in the '50s but I don't think he ever used it very
much. He gave it to me in 1973 and I've used it off and on ever since. Every
four or five years I'd dust it off, shoot a roll or two and show the slides
(in the red button viewer he also gave me) to a few wildly appreciative
friends. But for 25 years I never connected, or even heard of, anyone else
who was doing stereo.

This last summer my brain finally kicked in and I searched the net for 3-D
photography. Bang! I found P3D, Reel 3-D and Cascade Stereo Club and
suddenly I had a whole community out there who understood what my excitement
was about, and who knew a whole hell of a lot more than I ever dreamed of.
Now I'm shooting at every opportunity, mounting my slides, projecting,
starting to take & mount prints... I'm a kid in a candy store,  wanting it
all, expertise, equipment, formats, views, knowledge, knowledge, knowledge
(which I get every day on P3D)... Thanks, Uncle Koko, and thanks, P3D guys
and gals.
