P3D TDC Projector Problems

I recently bought a TDC Vivid Realist format projector at a photo swap
meet, and am having just a little bit of trouble. The images project
fine, and the new polarized glasses I bought from Reel 3D sure beat the
worn-out Polaroid glasses that came with the projector, but the problem
is that I have to adjust the projector just a little bit, usually
horizontally, for each slide. From one slide to another they don't
always line up, instead giving a "ghosting" image. A little fine tuning
with the horizontal adjustment on each slide and it pops in to perfect
view. Is it normal to have to adjust for each slide, or am I not
mounting my film chips correctly or consistently in the mounts?
Incidently these same slides in my Burmberg view look perfectly okay.
