P3D mounting blues

Whats that you say, Bunky? You say you've got 300 unmounted rolls of
stereo slides, and the guilt and dread are getting to you, and you know
there'll be ten more rolls before you have time to dig into it? Well,
here's the answer: Triage!
After you've acquired several shoeboxes full of slides that you know
aren't good enough or are too repetitive to show to anyone, and you'll
never look at again, and won't ever be part of a sequence or a show, you
realize that there are only 3 or 4 "keepers" on the average roll - so
why bother? Learn to recognize the good ones while they are unmounted,
clip them out and mount them, and file the rest in "permanent storage"
if you can't bear to toss them out. Film is cheap! Shoot more, mount
less!
