I have Realist, Red Button, and Minolta cameras. The Red Button is not
an SLR, there are two lenses ( one per eye) It is a viewing camera only.
I get good results without using Greecian formulas. I don't need a 1/30
rule! If you need a ruler to judge distances.....you are probably not a
good photographer. I use my feet and walk off critical measurements when
necessary. Hypofocus rules are a crock anyway!
If you focus on the subject....the subject will be sharp......period! I
can set the lense #s to any setting and my flower pictures are still
sharp!
Auto-focus cameras are a rip-off!! I took pictures of golfers during
their swing.....and every picture was blurry. Wait until Dr.T realizes
this after spending $3,000 for an automatic camera and getting blurry
pictures....especially from a plane moving near the speed of sound! I
feel sorry for him and those Greecian pictures....probably all the ruins
pictures are all ruined too! ( I would recommend a tripod for auto-focus
cameras to stop the blur)
I love those people who use a flash outside in broad daylight. That is
so silly. I never use bracketing of any kind because I can hold my
camera steady enough. And what is so hard about using a meter? All this
P3D talk about using a meter? If you cannot read the numbers the needle
points to, perhaps you need glasses.
And if you need glasses, and are taking pictures without them......well,
you are probably not a very good photographer. Alot of people are amazed
whn I tell them I am self taught!
See ya. :-) Mark Dottle
