Could it be they need washing? They might have gotten oily on
certain portions of the rubber. BTW, there is another type of
finger cot made out of latex rubber (used in electronic industries
among other places). These are extra clean and disposable. They
look like err, ummm extra small prophylactics (okay condoms,
there I said it!). They're available without any powders applied,
on them, and are used for handling fine components and are suitable
for handling film. It's available in small, medium, or large but
I'm not sure where you could get these. I have seen them at some
store but I forget where. One supplier of these is, Clean/ESD
Products, Inc., Freemont, CA, USA 94538.
