P3D Stereo Books?

Got an Amazon.com gift certificate for Christmas... going through Dan
Shelly's excellent book list (see http://www.dddesign.com/3dbydan/3dbooks/
if you haven't seen this great list.  Thanks, Dan!)... And, I came across
these:

FLATLANDS by Hans Knuchel 
IOWA STEREOGRAPHS by Mary Bennett

Anyone know anything about these books, anyone able to tell me a bit about
the contents? (What I really wanted was Ferwerda, but Amazon does not have
it.. So, I now seek books with fabulous, incredible and amazing stereo
images.)

Appreciate any comments about there, on-list or off
