Well, people were prone to flowery exaggeration in those days. Perhaps once
upon a time dissolves were quite novel and exciting. Perhaps this was like
the abuse of "3-D" today.

Really? Isn't that already in Greek dictionaries? Is stereography so rare
in Greece that there isn't even slang for it? I must admit I've never been
out of North America, I find that rather remarkable. Thanks for the
travelog!
But I'm drifting into another topic--language and culture for international
stereo...
