P3D Anti Newton Surface-which side?

To identify the anti-newton surface when using RBT mounts....(those who
order it should READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST, before opening glass packet,
and save yourself a lot of trouble)

Get a bright light source.

If you hold the glass up..and manipulate it around so that you can see
the reflection of the light bulb in the glass.....then try slowly moving
the glass back and forth, at angles, and observe the surface closely in
that raking light. Try to be viewing the glass lengthwise, and NOT
through it, scrutinizing each side's surface only, down the length of the
glass.

It should be fairly easy once you notice it...but the anti-newton side
appears to show a very fine texture...whereas the other side is
perfectly reflective and smooth. Remember: do NOT look through the
glass...but down the length of the surface...to see this textured anti
-newton surface.

Hope this helps...regar-D-D-D-s (from NEWTON , MA!)
