P3D 3D sightings in the movies

I was watching some movies over the holidays and noticed a couple of pieces of
3D equipment being used. The first was in Mad Max beyond Thunderdome -
remember the scene where Max has been found by the children out in the desert?
At one point they start to "tell the telling" of how they got there and what
happened to the world. They pull out a hand viewer but then start to feed 35mm
slides into it, but it looks like it might have been intend as a Realist or
Viewmaster format viewer (two viewing lenses and an awfully large body behind
it. This one I'm a little shaky on as I didn't reconize the equipment but it
sure looked like it might be a ViewMaster type viewer (maybe from Downunder
rather than a US variety).
The second sighting was in the classic movie "Earth Girls are Easy". This was
a Gena Davis movie in which furry aliens land in here backyard in Hollywood.
Well she takes them to her friends Beauty parlor for a make over and it turns
out that they are Jeff Goldblum, Damon Wayns and . Well the girl friend takes
their after picture with a Nimsolo/Nishki camera with flash (all you see is a
quick view of this camera with 4 lenses on the front). According to the liner
notes, this movie was a tribute to the excesses and extravagansas of the 80's.
