P3D public domain
Copyrights for movies are given out when the movie is released and may
be renewed once for a total of 75 of copyright protection. The reason
It's A Wonderful Life is public domain is because the producer forgot
to renew the copyright and it's protection was gone. In a few years
(well, three) Disney's 1927 production Steamboat Wille will be public
domain and so will Mickey Mouse.
