P3D non-legitimate viruses

I beg the readers of this list to double check before sending this kind of
message. I would usually not post this to the list, but a P3D reader
recently sent me one of these bogus warnings.
If you get any message that contains the phrase "send this to everyone you
know", then it a HOAX. Here's another clue: If all the lines start with ">
> > > >", then it's a HOAX.
The sick joke is to write a message that gets copied over and over, all
over the world. Newbies unwittingly pass it along. It's a pointless,
childish waste of *fantastic* amounts of time and money.
If you're a list admin or webmaster like Bob, then warn away. But if
you're new to computers, then please check your sources first.
