Not compatible at all or we still have a chance to get the color
compatibility?
Any website about this area(video tape anaglyphics)?<
I'm afraid I'm not particularly technically oriented. But it's my layman's
understanding that NTSC introduces some distortion in the color spectrum
which affects the "purity" of the colors used in anaglyph images. In any
event, I have virtually never seen an anaglyph image on a television set
that was even remotely close to being satisfactory. This is not true of VGA
computer monitors, which reproduce anaglyph images quite well. It also
brings us to the comment:
>Please note that New-Caledonia is in SW-Pacific, near Australia.
As far as possible from France ;-)<
Sorry about that. Internet addresses are not exactly models of clarity.
However, where you live is critical to any discussion of anaglyph on your
television. The above comments refer to the American (NTSC) system. I have
heard it said that the PAL system, in use throughout much of the world,
handles anaglyph colors better. I don't think I have ever heard any
comments on the SECAM system, which is used primarily in France and Russia.
