    Not always so.
    While some low power 2D projectors (e.g. the "toy" View-Master 2d
projectors) have no fan and maybe no heat absorbing glass,
most regular "adult" slide projectors have a fan as well as heat-absorbing
glass (since about 1960 they have been killing two birds with one stone by
making the first lens in the condenser assembly of a heat absorbing glass),
