George,
When I received my S1 July of 97 I thought Jon had said that there had been about a
100 or so S1 made and shipped world wide.Given your figure we'll say 300,RBT would
have to be putting out about 11/12 cameras per month.Given the size of the company
and work force this seems a liitle high,I'm sure Jon could shed a little more light
on this subject.

Cheap source for Filters?I assume your referring to price and not quality. After
spending the $3000.00 + for the camera it didn't make much sense to stick on a pair
of $10.00 Promaster filters on the camera.I think for the money B+W are about the
best filters out there.

I recently put a order in to Jon for (3) of the Hugo de Wijs SLR Macro
Attachments.I was only going to get (2) but my wife talked me into the (3rd)
set, what a great gal.Should have sometime in March and have some images for the
Alpha Folio in April.

S1 mailing list sounds interesting, maybe we can throw in a touch of the Combi
Viewer chat.
