per mount. Albion mounts with cardboard foldovers are about half that. What
are your thoughts? Does the ease and convenience of the RBT outweigh the cost
disadvantage? Or are aluminum mounts clearly superior despite the fact they
are a little more labor intensive? I await your thoughts.

The Albion foils (which I've been using for nearly 30 years) are very good,
and a great way to store your stereos, but they are not very stiff. Even with
the foldovers, they are not very thick, and can give problems with some
projector carriers. They often end up longer than the standard, and simply
won't go in unless trimmed.
The lack of stiffness can give rise to excessive "popping" - I found that I
had to tape all eight edges of the chips in a stereo pair to minimise this...
The RBT mounts, on the other hand, are well engineered, and are simple to use.
It is still advisable to tape one edge of each chip to stop them creeping out
of position. You can also easily re-use the mounts if you wish.
And the biggest plus? They can be used with the RBT projector for automatic AV
presentations.
On the minus side, they are a touch too thick for a tiny minority of hand
viewers.
