I'm having some problems with the server dying on calcite at
the moment. I've not put it on auto-restart since people tend to
get very testy when they receive 7 copies of the same message
as the server starts, sends for awhile, and then dies and restarts.

So I'll watch it for awhile and see if it stabilizes. 

The effect of this is that if it dies and I don't notice it for a few
hours, you'll likely get a flood of messages once it starts back up.
If you are in digest mode, you probably won't notice any difference.
