My Project-or-View does not fold.  It's a big clunker in a hard case that's
about 1.5 feet wide, 1.5 feet deep, and 2.25 feet high.  I can check the
model number, etc. for you if you'd like.  I didn't know there was a
folding version.

Yes, it has a fan.  There's a two-position switch for the left lamp and
fan, and a toggle for the right lamp.

I believe the polarizing filters are glass, though it's a been a while
since I opened it up.  I'm not sure how heat absorbing they are.
