Seems to me that the QDOS separation isn't much more than that. Also,
if you're using a rotating camera (such as a 360 panorama camera), the
separation can be as much or as little as you set the program up for.
It's only a theory at this point. I don't have the electronics
background to actually set something up and experiment with it, as much
as I'd like to. Still, if I suddenly become independently wealthy
(Texas lotto at $30 million), I may just learn more about it or even
build my own digital stereo camera!
I'll keep everyone posted on my progress.
