For what it's worth, on my Colorist-2

I can move the shutter setting knob to any setting with the shutter
cocked or uncocked. Just tried it.

At least on the realist, I recall one wasn't supposed to be
doing that (it's dragging the innards "loaded" on a stepped
thingie), and to cock after shutter adjustment when ready to take
the next image.  So maybe it's just as well?  :-)
