P3D depth cues

Parrots are known to bob up and down to get a fix on things. People
often move from side to side when presented with a stereo pair viewed
with shuttered glasses. People shift their weight from side to side
when conversing, or wander around when they reach the peak of a
mountain. Stereo video is much more effective when the camera moves.
All of these observations indicate that the perception of "being there"
is reinforced by a combination of cues. Ultimately, the "HoloDeck" must
approximate many of these without missing cues.... So here we are in an
age where the best medium to capture the full bandwidth of colors is
film: wonderful but expensive.
Fortunately, film is not the only playback medium. Most all of those
who are reading this have the ability to display large full color images
at low or no addition expense! Even in stereo! I have been seeing a
great deal more good stuff of late on the web.
So when are you going to show us your stuff on-line?
