This thread, along with the TDC lens focal length thread, along with
with the "universal format" thread, reminds me of three reasons I prefer
2x2x2's for projection. :-)

Kodak Carousels (for example) have remote controls with looooong cords;
long enough to get the projectionist to the ortho distance; they have
interchangeable lenses (including zooms) which are readily available
through places like B&H and possibly your well-stocked local camera
store; and they are self-loading, which along with the aforementioned
remote means you are not required to be at the projector.

Of course, this assumes you agree with the "projectionist should not
adjust the projectors during the show" thread, since all you can do with
the remote besides advance is focus. :-)
