Does winding after each shot actually prevent light leaks through the shutter
blades, or does it simply prevent light from leaking onto the frames that
you've just exposed? If the latter, aren't you concerned about light leaking
onto the frames waiting to be exposed after you've wound the film but before
you've taken the next shot? And if that's the case, wouldn't it be better to
"waste" the light-leaked frames between each shot, in order to free yourself
of doubts about setting the shutter speed? (Side benefit: you'd get to see
your results more than once every couple of years! All those little chips
take a looooooong time to get through a roll of film, don't they?) Maybe
there's a better way to deal with light leaks, like getting the camera
serviced, or keeping the case closed between shots? Jim
