P3D Underexposure of Nimslo in daylight

Stereo adventures in South Asia. How I got my stereo camera out of order:

We were returning home from a local 'pick-nick' when at around 10.30 p.m.
the hired bus crashed 4 meters down the road in to a paddy field. Bus
upside down, water gushing in, pitch-dark, people shouting, worse than
the Titanic (or at least so it seemed..). Miraculously, most of us had only
bruises, except the bus-boy who is dead now..

Now I come to the point... My trusted Kodak Stereo and Sekonic lightmeter
have been effectively put out of order by the combined action of water and
mud (my bag was recovered from the mud after three days).

I am lucky enough to leave in a few days for a walking trip in Nepal, but
no camera! However, I do have a Nimslo which I normally only use indoors
with flash and with excellent results (much better than a flash on the
Kodak Stereo). The few times a tried it outdoors, however, the images were
underexposed. I use 100 ASA film.

Does anybody have a suggestion on how to reliably use a Nimslo outdoors?

Thanks, Hans
