P3D Non-perpendicular windows...

There have been several threads in the past about alternative ways to mask
stereo images relative to the stereo window.

My latest gallery of images does some exploration with this idea.

Regular stereo images are embedded in abstract stereo surroundings that
standardized the image space to the rectangular calendar pages they were
designed for.

Among the techniques are, two images (Sept - Two trees) with their
respective windows at different depths to the total space. Two images at one
depth (July - the abstract *Jump Ship* images) arranged over backgrounds
staggered at three levels.

One image (June - Fishing) uses adaptive windowing where each side was
located by placing it just in front of the adjacent image objects. This
included more total image content than standardizing both to one size would
have done. It also seemed to help viewability by avoiding large areas near
the edge that otherwise would have been dissimilar (the looking around a
corner effect).

In all cases I was generally happy with the flexibility provided by these
creative masking techniques and the interaction between abstract and concrete.

If anyone has yet to observe a stereo window directly, this is a good way to
do so as you can see it's effect in each image relative to the abstract
surroundings.
