P3D Lenticular 3 & 4 lens processors

In response to my recent posting, several people recommended the
Nimslo as a good camera to start out with. In fact, my understanding is
that it's about the best thing out there for general lenticular work
aside from some more esoteric cameras or a single lens camera on a slide
rail. I intend to buy one, but I'm watching for a good deal on a used
one, rather than rushing into it.
One person responded to me by e-mail, however, and said that he has had
the best results in final image quality with the 3 lens, 3D Wizard. He
thought that it might be due to better quality processing. I then
decided to buy one of those because of that input and also because: a)
at $60 new it's a relatively inexpensive camera, and b) If I had this
camera *and* a Nimslo, I'd have 2 options for processing labs [oh, and
not to mention c) I'd have *2* new toys :-) ].
This is all new to me, but what I'm gleaning is that ImageTech is the
only USA company that processes 3 lens prints and Nimstec/3D-X is the
only USA lab that does 4 or more lens prints. Is that correct? My
rational in b) is based upon this. I understand from this list that
Image Tech has had significant delays recently. I would guess that this
could conceivably happen with Nimstec at some time also. Either way,
with both cameras, I'd have a choice of labs.
Has anyone else noticed significant print quality differences between
ImageTech and Nimstec? Am I silly to consider buying both cameras to
start shooting lenticulars with?
Thanks in advance! Chuck Schwimmer
