P3D RE: Viruses

I just got this e-mail from my friend, at Microsoft, who lets me know about viruses all
the time:

This has been overshadowed by all the Melissa virus talk ... but in case you
have forgotten, or are a relatively new web surfer, today is the day that
the internet is closed for it's annual cleaning. Specifically, it lasts from
Noon till 11:50 pm tonight, no matter what time Zone your in. Remember, do not attempt
to log on the internet
during this period - AS IT WILL DO MAJOR DAMAGE TO YOUR HARD DRIVE!!

With more and more folks jumping on computers everyday, I have read
there is concern as to if the entire internet can be cleaned in one day
this year. I would imagine we would hear sometime this afternoon if
the internet would need to be closed into Friday. Stay tuned for more
details, and be sure and forward this message to all your friends and
associates.

If you know someone who is just getting into the internet thing, you may
want to warn them about this!
