I think "Police Squad" (1980's?) included a claim of being "In Color"
(though it was intended as a joke).

And of course 3D enthusiasts will remember the "3D movies" on the old
television series "SCTV" (included the exaggerated moves that some P3D posters
have commented on recently, but without the two views).

Expect to start seeing notes like that again as HDTV broadcasts start to
increase. (Note: the television sets of A.D. 3000 employ ~16:9 aspect
ratio - see the picture accompanying the article on "Futurama" in this
week's TV Guide. :-)
