Actually, the standard size of an APS print (size H) is 4x7 and the
panoramic is printed to 4x11. Since this is just a crop, I agree quality
is lost. I'll add advantage 5) for what its worth:
5) Some models support mid-roll film change - for that situation where
you're shooting indoors with 400 and with only half the roll done go outside
to a nice sunny day wishing you could switch to 100.
