Actually, the H format is 4X7 and prints the entire negative (its more oblong that the 35mm
negative), whereas the C format is 4X6, prints only most of the negative, and is the exact
equivalent of getting an H print in the first place, then cutting a 1/2" vertical strip off of
each side of the print.
The Panoramic (P) format enlarges only the center horizontal strip to a 4X11 print, and is
actually very close to the degree of enlargement of a **disc* negative to a 3.5 X 4.5 print!
A far greater degree of enlargement that a 110 snapshot.
110 these days, notably with the Fuji Superia 200, looks alot better that it did during the
heyday of 110 in the late '70s. It is unfortunate that 110 fans can't get the superfine grain
premium ISO 100 C-41 emulsions that APS and 35mm users can. They would allow 110 to really
shine. Fuji and Kodak are doing a great disservice to subminiaturists by not putting them in
110
I know this is a little OT for this list, but let it be noted that subminiature fans are a
distinct, loyal and enthusiastic group, just as stereographers are.
