P3D Re: Hot-shoe adapter for Realist

The answer to this is to buy a second adapter that converts the hot
shoe to a PC cord (these are common). Then plug the PC cord to
the first adapter.
If the idea of having the flash at the top of two adapters turns you
off (as it did with me...) then you can always file the Realist bump
down and never have to worry about adapters again! That's what I
did after I went to Greece and found out that I had forgotten the
small PC cord for my flash. Went all over Athens and ended up paying
$15 for one. My first job after I came back was to file down the
bump. If you are worried about doing this to your Realist camera,
you can always replace the bump with a screw and save it for later.
(Also, some people have created a groove in the flash.)
