In digest 3292, Andy writes, in part:

<< It appears as if the...Kodak stereo
camera has the same sort of bayonet jack that's on my Ansco Automatic
Reflex. >>

This is, of course, the famous and highly regarded ASA standard connector. I
own two or three of these ASA to PC adaptors but (IMHO) none are reliable
enough to be worth the trouble. If you must have one, Saul Bower (NY NY) has
them readily available.

My big flashes use (at the flash ends) another standard fitting, the "H"
(household/Heiland/Honeywell) jack...very common on older high end battery
portable units and still popular on many domestic "studio" type power packs.
It is relatively common to find (at "swap meets" & junk shops) cords that
have an ASA camera end and an "H" flash end, so this is what I used for a
very long time with total reliability.

Alternatively, the very fine and knowledgable people at Paramount (Brooklyn
?) will be happy to custom fabricate a cord of any length and with almost any
combination of connectors that you want (last I checked, at abt. $10.00 each
end and $1.00 per foot). In this way you may have an ASA to Vivitar, or
Sunpak, or whatever you want cord.....
