I do not know how to modify a Nimslo 3D camera, but I thought of an old way to
accomblish the same result.

You could try using a pair of Nimslo cameras and set them up at 90 degrees with
a 45- degree set half way mirror, this way by offsetting the cameras, you could
get 2 interaxial settings for your Nimslos, one is four and half of the inter lens distance and
another is nine times the inter lens distance.

This way you could do the shot in a week instead of waiting for months of conversion.
This may be a little bit heavy for hand held, of course,
