Actualy that was the manafacturers original recomendation too, Running at
11.5 volts to give 3200K for 3200K corrrected films. Which is where I got
the idea that there must at least have been a film at one time intended for
this colour temperature. Presumably originaly for photopearl bulbs but
suitable for halogens of the same temp although they seem to be a little
higher 3,300K when run at the recomended voltage. But even at the time I
had not come across any 3200K film so I used 3400K photoflood film and ran
at 12 volts to give 3,300K or even overan a bit to give 3400K. Nowadays as
Mike Canter wrote even 3400K film is hard to find so I use daylight film
and compensating filters. P.J.Homer
