>Hi, I am considering to use 2 Russian Horizont 202 35 mm wide screen
format cameras on a bar. I already have one camera.
>Has anyone tried to match two of these cameras and what is the
procedure? Obviously matching exposure, but how about comparing focal
length as this type of camera has no "B" setting?

I'm not sure what you are trying to match. Focal length is 28mm and will
be reasonably matched. Distance is prefocused and will be matched. Lens
spacing is the only variable to deal with. Since the cameras are wide
angle and you are not able to do close-ups without a close-up lens, the
lenses could easily be spaced the width of the camera (140mm) or more
apart. The biggest problem I have with my 202 is that the tripod socket
is not flush with the bottom of the camera. It sticks out about 1/16" so
the camera rocks on a tripod. I have tried adding thin cork to the
bottom of the camera but the way the bottom is molded makes that
unsatisfactory. I have considered grinding down the socket. Any ideas? I
also ground down a +1 closeup lens to fit on one of the 3 little aux.
lenses that came with the camera and now it seem to focus from a couple
feet to inf. if set at f16. An interresting effect happens when you do
closeups on a slide bar. Since the lens swings, you are actual moving
the lenses into the view (when you shift the base) instead of parallel
to it, on the edges of the view. Has anyone considered twinning a couple
of these?
