How is it done without just doubling the flicker rate (Maybe they double
one of the fields?). Also, does anyone know where this could be done
and how much it might cost?<
My guess would be that most labs would do this by simply doubling up the
fields. On the computer, Photoshop has a "deinterlace" function that
averages the adjoining information to make up the deleted field, but I
suspect that this wouldn't work quickly enough to be used in transferring a
video in real time. I would check with a nearby professional video lab
concerning feasibility and cost, but be prepared to explain v-e-r-y
c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y exactly what you want done!
