Hello everyone!

Thanks to all who replied to my inquiry.
It appears that my Verascope F40 viewer is a
bit of a mystery.

Presently, I am working on my Sputnik.  Did
Sputniks ever have any kind of material in the
door grooves to seal the light chamber?   Mine
has material already present.  I believed that my
Sputnik was unmodified but from my Internet
research, maybe not.  Perhaps the previous owner
had already discovered the light leaks!  If so, the
work was done well and chamber is light tight
except for the counter window.  In addition, the
Sputnik is a "LOMO" rather than the earlier "GOMZ" --
maybe that's the difference.

Comments anyone?
