P3D Broken Stereomatic 500 Condenser

Thanks to everyone who offered info and advise both on list and off regarding 
my hobbled Stereomatic 500.

Jeff Jessee informed me that the mono S-1 VM projector has a single condenser 
lens that looks just like the ones in the 500.  I'm happy to report that the 
operation has been a success.  My S-1 has sacrficed it's working life for the 
benefit of it's bigger more useful brother.
