October15 3-D Cave Photography Show
Dr. Dick LaForge, Humboldt State University
This 3-D slide presentation will simulate the experience of actually being
in a cave, without the need to gear up and squeeze through dark passages.
Mr. LaForge will present spectacular images of California caves obtained
from combining two highly specialized photography approaches and provide
insights into his techniques.
Lectures begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall and admission is free. This
event relates the the exhibition "California Underground: Our Caves and
Subterranean Habitats" on exhibit at the museum through Jan. 9, 2000.
