P3D NSA Stereoview Exhibition - Lend Me Your Eyes!

Dear owners of quality glass-lensed print viewers:

I'm hunting for good-hearted souls for an old-fashioned
barn-raising...well, sort of.

The Competitive Stereoview Exhibition at the NSA Convention in Green Bay
needs your help.  I have been unsuccessfully trying to discover a source
of modern glass-lensed viewers for use by the exhibition judges.  I
avoided a general appeal on-list, thinking that I could find suitable
leads by private email and appeal to knowledgeable friends, but have had
no luck.  Alan Lewis, whose lorgnettes are admirably suited to this
cause, expressed regrets that he has no inventory of his to lend at this
late date, and will not be in attendance this year (so much the worse!) 
This posting is a final-ditch attempt to avoid plastic lenses.

I am ideally looking to borrow four Alan Lewis lornettes from persons
who will be attending the convention.  These would be used on Friday
evening, in secure surroundings, by the judges only, then returned in good
condition to their owners the following day.  I would assume personal
responsibility for their safe return.

If this effort fails, I would also be interested in borrowing modern
glass-lensed Holmes viewers with hoods large enough to accomodate
eyeglass wearers.
