P3D net outage(s)

Just a short note - construction work is being done on the
building just outside (literally - it's on the outside wall) where
calcite is located. The school is being forced to put in an external
NYC style fire escape onto our 1907 tudor style campus building (a
travesty in my opinion). At any rate net outages will occur sporadically
over the next few weeks as wires are re-routed, etc. The server 
automatically shuts down when it gets disconnected from the internet,
and when I had it on auto-restart a few years ago, 
it had a tendency to send the people
on the top of the subscriber list multiple copies of the same message,
which mightly irritates some folks. So it will await manual 
restart by me, which is somewhat complicated by the fact that I'm
now 500+ miles away. 

So it's best to remember that P3D is *not* a real-time service
(although I try to keep it that way! - seems like the times it's really
fast is when someone inadvertantly posts to the list, and asks me to
kill it  - invaribly it's already gone out :-)
