P3D Use VM Mark II cutter

Mounting the little chips for the View-Master Personal reels can be
quite difficult especially when this doesn't happen often for example
because one uses also other stereo cameras, as I do. Recently I started
mounting again but with great problems, although I used latex gloves.
Some moment I found out that the instructions glued on top of the cutter
had "put me on the wrong leg" (Dutch expression). The chips are of such
shape that if one tries to push it in the pocket of the mount with the
wrong side to the center of the reel that goes very difficult.
So perhaps I help someone with the following advice:
a. The reel with "Personal" towards you
b. Emulsion side of film towards you
c. The right chip falling out of the cutter in the right pocket etc.
Emulsion side still towards you.
d. Place the reel in the viewer with the word "Personal" on the other
side than mentioned in a.
Results of my Mark II camera are again and again ASTONISHING.
Good luck!
