P3D Workshop Schedule

Why is it that the NSA workshops are scheduled to take place on Friday
during the Stereo Theater presentations?  Doesn't it make more sense to
have them on Saturday and Sunday?  Wouldn't attendees rather take a
break from walking around the trade show to attend a workshop than
missing part of the slide presentations to do so?  If I'm faced with the
choice of Stereo Theater or workshop I'll choose the Stereo Theater
every time.
Seeing the slide programs is by far the single most important reason
I've attended most conventions in the past decade.
