Just a casual observation. Green Bay will be the 3rd NSA 
convention that I will have attended. The other two, I went
specifically to buy things. I did not attend one workshop or
seminar. I didn't even know they were going on. I just thought
that there were some slide shows or something and I couldn't
afford the time to go to even one of them. Let alone attend 
for three to four days to see everything.

As far as what is available at the trade show, I was quite 
unhappy to find that things I had noticed but was not prepared
to buy at the first trade show were nowhere to be found at
the second one I attended. With a large number of recognized
"big hitter" retailers not attending this time, I suspect that 
I will be disappointed again. Who knows?

This time I will be attending some of the shows and workshops
and hopefully will meet some of the APEC and MF folks.

I hope that some happy medium can be found between the trade 
show and the internet for equipment availability. The net is
a scary place to buy something sight unseen. One always feels
more secure handing money over for something they have held 
in their hands.
