Yes. I might also add that the "sunny 16" type empirical rules
are "incident" in nature too.

There are other empirical rules - extensions of "sunny 16" - that work
in these situations too. For example, pull out your trusted light
meter in your office at work (not at home but at a well-lit workplace)
and if it does not suggest f11 at 1 sec. w/ASA 100 film, then let
my name not be DrT.
As a matter of fact, I know right now that the room where I will give
my "Getting Started in Stereo With a Manual Stereo Camera" workshop
in Green Bay has this amount of light in it. I'll bet Tom $10 that
this is the case. And I have never been to Green Bay!!!
