P3D 3-D in San Francisco, New York and DC

I havn't seen anything on this topic in this newsgroup, so forgive me if
I am on ground already covered.
There is currently an exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of modern
art of the photographer Carleton Watkins: "Carleton Watkins: The Art of
Perception" that features a huge selection of stereo-view images taken
in northern California in the Late 1800's. This was of course a time
when northern California was a pristine paridise, and his photos helped
convince Abraham Lincoln to sign the Yosemite Bill in 1864, leading to
the creation of that grand National Park.
Amazingly, no reference to his stereo-view prints is made in the blurb
on the SFMOMA website (http://www.sfmoma.org) but they are included and
are in many ways as interesting as the spectacular non-stereo images.
Besides the few physical stereo-view images that are available for
viewing in the gallery, there is an antechamber of computer kiosks
featuring (possibly) the entire collection of e-d images digitized for
viewing with a pretty easy-to-use viewer interface.
There is also a book of the images, by the (I belive) same title.
Anyone in the San Francisco area may want to see this before September
7, and those nearby to the Met in NYC and the National Gallery in DC may
want to find out when this show will be traveling to these sites.
Cheers-
Kimballi
