P3D Screen width

I meant to measure something at the NSA projections in Green Bay
and forgot to do it. I wonder if any who were at the show would
care to estimate how much of the width of the screen the full
frame slides took up? The screen is 20 feet long, I believe. It
appeared to me that there was about 25 percent of the screen
width unused on each side for full frame projections. That being
the case then the projected images were would have been about 10
feet wide. Does that seem about right?

Of course the anamorphic projections gave considerably wider
images. But even there we did not use the full width of the
screen - and I am asking about normal 2x2 slide projection.

We were using 7 inch lenses on the Ektagraphic projectors and the
projector to screen distance was 52 feet. If am using the
equations correctly that should mean a screen image length of
10.7 feet from a 36 mm wide slide. But of course most slides
were less than 36 mm wide, lets say 33 mm, and that should
produce a width of about 8.1 feet.
